A.C.E.D. Books is a new name but what we stand for and what we do have a solid pedigree.
Tony Gillen and his team have been writing books, training programs, and articles for more than forty years.
Their work has been published by Fenman, Blue Ocean, and The Grass Roots Group.
The goal of everything the ACED team have written was to deliver impressive results for their readers, their clients, and for everyone who worked with them.
Make the complex simple and make the simple enjoyable.
Fun and easy encourage involvement.

Tony was a teacher. He became a computer salesman and used his teaching skills to help business owners understand the benefits of buying the systems he was selling.
After ten years, he founded a training company to help systems sales professionals sell more. That goal helped the company expand into management development, and distance learning.
The company was bought by The Grass Roots Group.
As General Manager of The Grass Roots Group’s Training Division, he was personally involved in working with Sir John Whitmore, David Hemery, David Whitaker, and Peter Lightfoot to migrate the GROW model from Olympic sports coaching into mainstream business coaching.
With Sir John’s permission, he wrote the comprehensive training program, The Coaching Skills Activity Pack, based on the GROW model.
Tony’s background in sales, marketing, and business management led him to further develop the model, now known as ACED (Aspire, Consider, Explore, Do) by adding two new elements.
This 3-part strategy makes it totally comprehensive.
The principle behind it is that many people who go to work every day are not trying to win Olympic Gold medals, do not feel competitive, and do not always relate to the idea of achieving goals. The new strategic approach to high performance is more inclusive and brings out the best in everyone, not just those who want to be superstars. The three elements are:

As well as writing business and legal books, articles, and blogs for clients, Tony decided that achieving excellence can, and should, begin much sooner.
His passion is history. Over the years, he has heard too many people say they don’t like history, so he merged the two – making history interesting, and using it to spur young minds into wanting to become exceptional.
That is the basis of Land That I Love.
The idea is to use the three rules for studying history to enable young students to:
